Just 2 miles south of the Circle, our historic commercial district features award-winning restaurants, small businesses, and the largest concentration of live music venues in the city. Connected by the cultural trail, we are a destination of one-of-a-kind urban experiences.

 

transportation + Parking

Getting to Fountain Fletcher is easy, thanks to IndyGo and The Cultural Trail!

  • Use the Red Line Bus Rapid Transit to travel car free. Every 15 minutes the bus stops at stations along the route and will take you the entirety of Virginia Avenue. Even better, IndyGo is FREE during All Star Weekend! Plan your trip using their trip planner.
  • Travel by foot, scooter or bike via The Cultural Trail. This famous linear park connects over 8 miles of cultural districts in Indianapolis including Fountain Fletcher. This is the best way to take in the culture of the District! Don’t have a bike? Rent one from the Pacers Bikeshare for FREE during All-Star Weekend.
  • Street parking is always free in Fountain Fletcher. Don’t like to parallel park? Check out our public parking lots on the map below:

  • Grab brunch or lunch at Turchetti’s Deli;  , a local favorite owned by George Turkette who was featured on Guy’s Grocery Games.
  • Fountain Square is known as a hub for live music and art. You’ll see murals, performing art and guerrilla art via stickers and signs throughout the District. Stop and check these out as you explore.
  • Art has it’s shining moment every First Friday and Third Saturday at The Murphy Arts Center.  Stop by the second floor of the arts center for open galleries and programming.
