Fountain Fletcher District Association

The historic districts of Fountain Square and Fletcher Place are slam dunks when it comes to locally owned businesses and artistic flair. A true MVP of commerce since the 1800s, Fountain Square keeps scoring big with its lineup of unique retail shops and buzzy entertainment spots. Just down the court, Fletcher Place is dishing out culinary assists left and right, boasting a roster of award-winning restaurants that are nothing but net.

Whether you’re dribbling through for a quick visit or posting up for the weekend, you can easily pivot between both neighborhoods via the Indianapolis Cultural Trail, which cuts straight down Virginia Avenue- an alley-oop for urban explorers.

Get ready, Indianapolis—basketball’s brightest stars are coming to town! For the first time ever, the city will host the AT&T WNBA All-Star 2025 Weekend on July 18–19, with the main event tipping off at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, home of the Indiana Fever.

This historic weekend will showcase the league’s top talent in the 22nd WNBA All-Star Game, along with fan-favorite events like the STARRY® 3-Point Contest and Kia Skills Challenge. Downtown Indy will transform into a basketball celebration, featuring interactive fan experiences, live entertainment, and community events at venues including Lucas Oil Stadium and the Indiana Convention Center.

With local sensation Caitlin Clark leading the Fever and fueling unprecedented excitement around the league, this All-Star Weekend promises to be one of the most electrifying in WNBA history
